Minciuna mare e o specie a sublimului. Trump e încă viabil politic pentru că minte măreț, cu o dezinvoltură monstruoasă. Precum Dumnezeu.
Unul dintre textele pivotale ale antichității este cel Despre sublim atribuit lui Longinus. Autorul, dacă nu e evreu, e sigur la curent cu Tora, din care citează. Anticii știau și ei să mintă fabulos.
Implauzibilul e seducător. Realismul e adevărat cînd e magic. Limbile sînt toate de foc – niciunele mai hot decît cele nemistuitoare ale îngerilor.
Credeți că doar în Vechiul Testament lui Dumnezeu îi pute gura? Şi atunci se va arăta acel nelegiuit, pe care Domnul Isus îl va nimici cu suflarea gurii Sale şi-l va prăpădi cu arătarea venirii Sale. Halena lui Isus – epifania pîrjolitoare a parusiei.
Și Pavel, apostolul, știe artificiile sublimului. Să puteţi pricepe care sînt lărgimea, lungimea, adâncimea şi înălţimea. Nimeni nu știe ce dimensionează autorul aici. Dar fix asta-i șmecheria. Contează doar enormitatea. Înălțimea paulină e fix sublimul din tratatul pseudo-longinian. Să cunoașteți ceea ce e dincolo de cunoaștere, ajungînd plini de plinătatea lui Dumnezeu. Pentru că abia postmodernii au inventat pleroma contradicției.
E sublim pentru că lipsește cu desăvîrșire.

Asta e exact motivul pentru care un post-modern nu este altceva decat un gnostic care pretinde ca a rupt-o cu trecutul gnostic.Lupul derridian isi schimba parul dar naravul gnostic, ba.
Si cumva post-modernii sunt mai initiatii decat restul muritorilor in a dibui tainele contradictiei?Au o cunoastere mai „speciala” a adevarului „inventand pleroma contradictiei”?Daca imi amintesc eu bine pleroma era deja bine conturata in istoria filozofiei si dinainte de Derrida.Iar Derrida nu a facut altceva decat sa
continue traditia gnostica a aluia care spunea ca „nimeni nu vine la Tatal decat prin El”.
Pana una alta am citit mai demult un articol care trateaza aspectul gnostic al post-modernismului:
„Regarding the challenge of postmodernism proper, at least three things must be said. First, the postmodernists, for all their insights and astute warnings about The Science, failed to understand the science it mimics. Second, though their dialectics turned almost completely negative, not even they gave up on Gnosticism. Race is socially constructed and imposed, says Critical Race Theory, so only by understanding yourself in terms of its structurally deterministic machinations can Gnostic awareness of Race Theory be rightly obtained. Understanding systems and their operation through the black magick of socialization awakens a Gnostic consciousness in every conceivable domain of identity, but Scientific Gnosticism it remains. Postmodernism didn’t kill Scientific Gnosticism; it merely pushed it deeply into the plural.
In this way, we can understand the madness of the current world. Gnosticism is again ascendant in a new postmodern and scientistic form, and Gnostic cults have captured countless people and far too many institutions. The trouble is: they think they Know, and they think that with their Knowledge, they can remake the world and those who are so unfortunate to inhabit it in its Fallen form. As a result, droves of otherwise sensible human beings yet again feel as though they have been flung into a broken world and, with the right Theory, the right Gnosis, they can properly contextualize all that they think they understand and so remake the world and themselves to match.”

Te rog io, citește Derrida, citește gnostici, și lasă-l pe maseurul de James Lindsay în pace. Am vorbit deja despre șansele ca autiștii să aibă dificultăți relaționale și sexualități complicate. Despre șansele ca autiștii să facă doctorat în matematică – mai ales pentru a face mai apoi o carieră în masaj – bănuiesc că știi. Dacă punem la socoteală și probabilitatea intersectării autistului cu un diagnostic de schizofrenie, ce iese la socoteală? Măcar un conspiraționist, nu?

Pai si eu care credeam ca voi post-modernistii si fundamentalistii evanghelici operati in acelas univers epistemologic! Ia vezi tu interviul asta cu Edi pentru a vedea cat de mult hermeneutica post-moderna gnostica a corupt Crestinismul ( cei drept nu e pentru prima data in istoria Crestinismului cand gnosticismul premodern/postmodern a parazitat Crestinismul):

Eu sînt un anti-gnostic care s-a împăcat cu ideea că, tocmai de aceea, e cel mai mare gnostic din parcare 🙂
